Hey, everyone!! We hope your summer was awesome!! We want to invite you to our re-vamped Teen Anime Club!! It is now called G.A.M.E.S. which stands for Games, Anime, Movies, Entertainment and Snacks (what would we do without those!!)
We will meet upstairs in the Youth Dept. from 5:30 to 7:30, old and new friends are welcome to join in!! This club is for teens ages 13 to 17 ONLY! Meet our teen coordinators and discuss upcoming programming. This group will meet regularly 2 times per month on Thursday nights, (usually the 2nd and 4th Thursdays, unless there is a holiday).
You can just drop-in, we do keep a registration list for contact info!

Kanopy is a video streaming service for quality, thoughtful entertainment. Find movies, documentaries, foreign films, classic cinema, independent films and educational videos that inspire, enrich and entertain. Kanopy partners with public libraries to bring you an ad-free experience that can be enjoyed on your TV, mobile phone, tablet, and online.
Play credits are used to play videos on Kanopy. You will receive 7 play credits per month through the Bigelow Free Public Library. Each video will use 1 play credit each, with the exception of those in Kanopy Kids. Once you press ‘play’ on a video and a play credit has been used, you will have 3 days (72 hours) to view it as many times as you like without using another play credit. Your play credits will reset back to 7 on the 1st day of each month.
Creating a Kanopy account is quick and easy! Once you’ve made an account, you’ll also have unlimited access to Kanopy Kids, which is appropriate for children ages 2 and up. Play credits are not required when using Kanopy Kids, allowing unlimited plays each month!

The Bigelow Free Public Library has formed a partnership with Driving-Tests.org to offer FREE practice exams for RMV permits, car, motorcycle, and CDL licenses.
The Massachusetts-specific exams are easily accessible. The collection includes Spanish versions of road sign practice exam and MA Driver’s Handbook. The site also include frequently asked questions about obtaining a Massachusetts driver’s license.
“This is just one more way we can help our patrons succeed with online resources,” says library director, Marie Letarte. The practice exams and electronic handbooks are accessible from home, as well as in the library.
