Kanopy is changing its system beginning November 1.
Instead of 7 movies per month, you’ll now get 21 tickets to use each month. Each movie will be assigned a ticket value, so some will be two tickets and others may be more. Before you hit “Play,” you will be able to see a ticket value and how many days you’ll have to view each title. The ticket system will also apply to The Great Courses.

Kanopy Kids is a tightly curated collection of the best children’s programming available today. The kids’ selection is curated to support early literacy, STEM education, and even foreign language learning. Using favorite children’s characters from Sesame Street, PBS Kids, Weston Woods, and more, their collection of kids films inspire empathy, critical thinking, and self-esteem in young viewers.
Kanopy Kids content will continue to be its own section and will not be included in the ticket system. Kanopy Kids titles are always available for unlimited plays.
Creating a Kanopy account is quick and easy! Once you’ve made an account, you’ll also have unlimited access to Kanopy Kids, which is appropriate for children ages 2 and up. Tickets are not required when using Kanopy Kids, allowing unlimited plays each month!
