Friends of the Library

FRIENDS OF THE BIGELOW FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY logo

The Friends of The Bigelow Library is a community-based, volunteer organization that supports the Bigelow Free Public Library’s mission to explore, learn, create, and connect across the community. We raise funds, provide volunteers, and offer programs that extend the valuable content and services the library provides to the people of Clinton, MA.

About the Friends

  • Join the Friends
As a Friend, you will make a difference by supporting library programs and services not possible through tax dollars alone. If you prefer to join and pay by check, you can print the Membership Application.

  • Make a Donation
Not interested in membership? We appreciate donations in any amount.

  • Become a Volunteer
You don’t have to be a member to volunteer, and there are lots of ways to be involved.

We need book sale volunteers. You can sign up here for some shifts setting up, sorting books, and helping at the sale (held on September 6-7).

  • Attend our Meetings
The Friends board meets on the first Saturday of the month at 10am in the Community Room.
