We make every effort to provide you with the most up-to-date information regarding each discount pass. However, it is important to check the museum/local attraction’s website for the most accurate and up-to-date information especially concerning timed-entry reservations, special hours, restrictions, etc.. Some museums and local attractions have special requirements/restrictions in place at this time. Visiting their website ahead of time will help to answer any questions that you may have before you visit.
- Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A valid CW MARS library card in good standing is required to borrow a pass
(i.e. no outstanding fines over $10 or any lost items). - Only library patrons 18 years or older are able to reserve and check out museum passes.
- Passes that are not coupons must be returned before our next day’s opening hour (by 9:00 am). Passes may be placed in the outdoor book drop, located in the parking lot behind the library.
- Any borrower who loses a pass is responsible for the full replacement cost of that pass.
- It is important to know that some passes provide free admission, while others provide reduced admission.
- Passes may be picked up the day-before or the day-of your reservation.

The Bigelow Free Public Library
has purchased passes that offer discounts to:
* American Heritage Museum in Hudson (expires September 12, 2025)
– Requires a valid CW MARS library card.
– This pass offers half-price admission for up to six (6) visitors.
– Children 3 and under are admitted for free.
– World War II and Korea Veterans are admitted for free.
– Pass is good on General Admission only, and not valid for Special Event Weekends or driving or ride experiences.
– The Museum is open year-round: Wednesday – Sunday, 10 am – 5 pm
– Average visit duration is approximately two hours.
– The annex buildings, such as the Aircraft Hangar or Car Collection, are ONLY open on Special Event Weekends (see schedule at this link) and are not part of General Admission.
– The Museum is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and the following holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
* This pass is a circulating pass. Once reserved, it may be picked up the day before or the day-of your visit to the American Heritage Museum and must be returned to the library before the next day’s opening hour to avoid any late fees, and so that others may use it. For your convenience, passes may be placed in the outdoor book drop located in the back parking lot of the library.
For patrons using the Library Discount Pass to visit the American Heritage Museum, please reserve the PASS with us online, but please do not reserve your TICKETS with the Museum (you will not be able to apply the discount). When you arrive at the Museum for your visit, please bring the valid Library Discount Pass to Admissions to pay for your tickets and receive the discount.
* Animal Adventures in Bolton (expires July 1, 2025)
– Requires a valid CW MARS library card.
– Pass admits up to four (4) adults and/or children ages 4+ for $8 per person for General Admission to Animal Adventures in Bolton, MA during normal operating hours. Toddlers ages 2 and 3 are admitted at $7 per person. Children under 2 are free. Pass cannot be redeemed for cash. Pass cannot be combined with any other offers including itself. Pass cannot exceed its $32 value per visit.
– No reservations are required. Discounts can only be applied in person.
– Open Monday – Saturday: 10 am – 5 pm; Sunday: 11 am – 5 pm (Hours may vary if private events are scheduled. Please check animaladventures.net for the latest information).
– Daily Live Animal Shows are included with general admission. Zookeepers bring out several furry and scaly rescue friends for you to interact and get to know.
– Open year-round to the public, rain or shine.
– Closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

For patrons wishing to use the Library Discount Pass to visit Animal Adventures, please reserve the PASS with us online, but please do not reserve your TICKETS with Animal Adventures online. When you arrive at Animal Adventures for your visit, please bring the valid Library Discount Pass to Admissions and purchase your tickets there to receive the discount.
* Battleship Cove in Fall River (May 31, 2025)
– Requires a valid CW MARS library card.
– This pass gives the cardholder up to two (2) adult and three (3) child admissions at $3 each.
– Children 3 and under are FREE.
– Battleship Cove general admission tickets include admission to the Maritime Museum (open seasonally, please check website for details).
– Battleship Cove is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
– Parking is available at the DCR Fall River Heritage State Park lot adjacent to the museum. Handicap parking is also available.
For patrons using the Library Discount Pass to visit Battleship Cove, please reserve the PASS with us online, but please do not reserve your TICKETS with the Museum online (you will not be able to apply the discount). When you arrive at the Museum for your visit, please bring the valid Library Discount Pass to the Visitors Center to pay for your tickets and receive the discount.
* Boston by Foot in Boston (no expiration)
– Requires a valid CW MARS library card.
– Each coupon is good for free public walking tour admission. Patrons may borrow up to two (2) per day.
– Community Passes are valid for all public walking tours. They are not valid for booking on the private tour calendar, water-based tours, or their two annual Celebration tours (Beacon Hill with a BOO! & Footloose on the Freedom Trail).
– Online pre-registration is required for all tours. Visit www.BostonbyFoot.org to browse the extensive public tour calendar. Select a tour on your preferred date & time, and enter the number of adults (ages 13+) and children (ages 6-12) in your party.
– Please note: Registration for all public walking tours closes one hour before tour start time.
– All tour attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.

Patrons wishing to use the Library Discount Pass at Boston by Foot should reserve the PASS online with us as well as their advanced reservations with Boston by Foot. Please remember to bring BOTH your coupon from the library and your reservation confirmation from Boston by Foot. * Boston Children’s Museum in Boston (expires July 31, 2025)
– Requires a valid CW MARS library card.
– Pass offers half-price admission for up to four (4) people. Infants under 12 months need a ticket but they are admitted free.
– Museum pass is date specific; ticket date MUST match date on coupon. Coupon must be presented upon arrival. Limit four (4) tickets. All visitors after their first birthday require a ticket.
– The Museum is open Wednesday-Sunday, 9 AM – 12 Noon and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
– The Museum is closed on Thanksgiving day and Christmas day.
– The Museum is open on the following Monday holidays: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day/February Vacation Week, Patriots’ Day/April Vacation Week, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Labor Day, Indigenous Peoples’ Day, and Winter Vacation Week.
– Please note: Advanced tickets/reservations are highly recommended, especially during weekends, holidays and school vacation weeks. You may reserve your tickets on the Museum’s website (instructions are on the pass, once reserved).
– Boston Children’s Museum is open for two pre-registration time slots per day. – All other exhibits in the How Do You See the World? experience are free.
– Visitors under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
– This pass does not provide any other discounts and cannot be applied to group visits.
– Located in the Mary Baker Eddy Library at the Christian Science Publishing Society building.

– Pass offers half-off general admission for up to three (3) people; under 1 are free (additional people in your party pay regular admission prices).
– Admission is good for Discovery Museum and Discovery Woods.
– Valid only during Public Hours. Please visit the Museum’s website to confirm public hours.
– The Museum is CLOSED on most Mondays during the school year, except for school vacation weeks and some holidays.

You will need to present the library discount pass and your advanced ticket reservations to the Admissions staff when you check in for the discount to be applied to the cost of your visit.

– Requires a valid CW MARS library card.
– Pass offers 50% reduced museum admission for up to two (2) adults and two (2) children (children under 2 are free).

– Library pass does not include admission or discounts to the Explorer Express Train, Planetarium, or the regular member discount in the Museum Store.
Please note:

Patrons wishing to use the Library Discount Pass for the EcoTarium should reserve their discount PASS online with us prior to their visit. However, you do not need to purchase or reserve your TICKETS in advance if you plan to visit the EcoTarium using a Library Discount Pass (tickets must be purchased in person at the EcoTarium in order to receive the discount).
* The House of the Seven Gables in Salem (expires September 30, 2o25)
– Requires a valid CW MARS library card.
– Pass gives patrons 50% off admission for up to four (4) people. Children under 5 are free – accompanied by an adult.
– Patrons are required to:

Message from the New England Aquarium:
Library pass holders no longer need to make advance reservations. Tickets cannot be pre-purchased online nor over the phone. The original, dated pass must be presented at the Aquarium Box Office (“General Admission” line) at the time of the visit. Library pass holders will be granted immediate entry after purchasing discounted tickets, even if the Aquarium is sold out to the general public at that time.

Covid-19 Procedures:
There are no advance tickets or reservations required to enter the USS Constitution Museum. Entry will be based on a first come, first served system.
