The Friends of The Bigelow Library is a community-based, volunteer organization that supports the Bigelow Free Public Library’s mission to explore, learn, create, and connect across the community. We raise funds, provide volunteers, and offer programs that extend the valuable content and services the library provides to the people of Clinton, MA.

As a Friend, you will make a difference by supporting library programs and services not possible through tax dollars alone. If you prefer to join and pay by check, you can print the Membership Application. - Make a Donation
Not interested in membership? We appreciate donations in any amount. - Become a Volunteer
You don’t have to be a member to volunteer, and there are lots of ways to be involved.
We need Mini Golf volunteers. You can sign up here for shifts as hole watcher, caddy, or snack/raffle ticket seller (held on March 21-22, 2025).

The Friends board meets on the first Saturday of the month at 10 am in the Community Room.

Search for new President of the Friends Executive Board
The Friends is currently looking to fill the President of the Board position, which will become vacant on July 1, 2025. Ideally, the President-to-be would join the board immediately as Vice President and work closely with the current President to become familiar with the position and ensure a smooth transition.
