Working in cooperation with the Clinton Council on Aging, the Bigelow Free Public Library offers ‘Books on Wheels’ – a program for subscribers to Meals on Wheels.
If you are a Clinton resident and are interested in getting a delivery of books or audio books, please contact Sherri at the Clinton Senior Center or Marie at the library for an application. The application includes questions about preferred topic, format and number of items, as well as name and address.
Books are delivered and picked up with meals weekly (or on a plan customized to your needs).
- Are you or someone you love homebound?
- Have you read or listened to everything in your home?
- Do you receive Meals on Wheels through the Clinton Council on Aging?
If you answer yes to these questions, you can get books delivered from the library with your meal delivery. Call the library or Sherri at the Senior Center for an application. All you need is a library card!

- I give the BFPL staff permission to check items out (for me) on my card even if I am not present.
- I give the BFPL staff permission to track my reading history so that I don’t get repeat items (unless by request).
