All the library does is provide books; why do you need a bigger space?
First of all, this is not at all true. Sure, we offer books, but in terms of physical items that people can take home, we also offer so much more. Over the past 10 years, borrowing from the library has almost doubled.
This bigger building will provide the spaces that the community has been asking for, like a Teen area, study rooms, youth programming area, and multiple meeting rooms. The current space is inadequate for Clinton’s current needs and library services.
