TG, seconded by FR. unanimously approved

Motion to accept minutes by Jill, 2nd by Tina, all approved

MPLCP update/ progress
- Open forum debriefing
- Most people at the 9/16 public forum in favor of new building, rather than construction additions & renovations to current building
- Selectboard Chamber was full; meeting could have been in auditorium
- Generally library supporters showed up and spoke in favor of new
- Tours went very well,
- especially small tours,
- -good for building community interest,
- people are able to ask questions
- showcase building, potentially change minds

Director’s report
Past 5 years attendance- not quite pre-covid numbers, but steadily growing
Staff would like a 2 hour delayed opening on the day after Thanksgiving, as it is usually very quiet
Motion by Tina to vote on delaying opening by 2 hours day after thanksgiving, 2nd Jill, unanimously rejected
Staff want new company to provide drinking water
Book sale went better than last year, despite Old Home Day being cancelled Cost per person/ value of the library is double, in terms of patron savingsMPLCP update/ progress
