Trustee Minutes May 19, 2016
Meeting called to order at 6:00
All trustees present except S. Franco
Motion made by C. Keiger to accept minutes. F. Purcell 2nd. All approved
No public comment
Review of construction progress
Possibility of using a substitute librarian in case of emergency. State Aid would be used to pay wages.
Personnel discussion about disciplinary actions. Board agreed to review and follow the town by-laws concerning personnel.
Discussion on annual budget.
Director’s report
Discussion about religious artifacts donation. Board agreed to refuse donation.
Board voted to close on July 2nd for the July 4th holiday(which falls on a Monday) and continue to close on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend.
Board expressed its appreciation to Fran Purcell for her three years of service to the library and Board of Trustees.
